Zaslow continued, “As important as the new look of our site, was redesigning the way it worked. Now we are able to offer B2B services that allow us to develop private label websites and joint ventures with entertainment companies who want a superior video streaming experience for their users.

New York Times Coverage
Nothing to Watch on TV? Streaming Video Appeals to Niche Audiences
A feature article about streaming video highlighted ReelTime.com. Running in the New York Times, an excerpt follows:
Companies like ReelTime, Joost, Limelight Networks and Brightcove are staking their futures on streaming video.
“We’re point, click and watch — instantly,” said Barry Henthorn, the chief executive and co-founder of ReelTime. “We never stop and never buffer.”
ReelTime, based in Seattle, digitally distributes thousands of movies and television shows to customers who either rent titles for 99 cents each or subscribe to the service for $4.99 a month to $19.99 for six months.
While ReelTime content can easily be watched on desktop and notebook computers, Mr. Henthorn urges customers to connect the computer to the television’s larger screen for viewing because, he said, “the quality is that good.”
Mr. Henthorn said ReelTime’s streaming technology depends on a peer-to-peer network. Some of the content comes straight from ReelTime, but to speed the delivery other portions of it are pulled from subscribers’ computers that have previously downloaded the content. The more users who download the ReelTime player and view its content, the faster and better content streams to and from all users.
“Right now all kinds of things are being shoved, rather inefficiently, over the Internet,” Mr. Henthorn said. “Once people can watch full-screen video anytime anywhere, the tolerance for four-inch screens will go away.”
Streaming has been a boon to media companies catering to a narrowly defined audience.

ReelTime Will See Eye to Eye With Atlas & Kato Kaelin
SEATTLE, WA, Apr 24, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- ReelTime.com (PINKSHEETS: RLTR) announced today that programming from Atlas Worldwide, including Kato Kaelin's syndicated hit series, "Eye For An Eye" will be available on the ReelTime.com broadband network. Now in its fourth season, ReelTime customers will be able to view the first season of this funny and unique series.
Unlike any other courtroom television drama, Kato Kaelin hosts this modern take on the criminal justice system, as new cases are tried each week before Judge Extreme Akim. People fed up with the seemingly hopeless court system are demanding that the punishment fit the crime, and "Eye for an Eye" does just that with innovative sentencing that makes sense. "Eye for an Eye" features the enigmatic Judge Extreme Akim sentencing his litigants to "paybacks" where the prevailing party gets to deliver the "payback" punishment. Featuring Kato Kaelin as host and Sugar Ray Phillips (former middleweight boxing champion of the world) as bailiff, "Eye For An Eye" delivers a gavel crack unheard of in the world of American courtroom television. "Today, justice is a baseball bat."
"Starting with 'Eye For An Eye,' we're delighted to have Atlas Worldwide's programming available on ReelTime.com," said Atlas V.P. of Sales and Marketing and "Eye For An Eye" Producer Scott Kirkpatrick, who continued: "Watching ReelTime's streaming video opened my eyes to the possibilities of online distribution."
Beverly Zaslow, ReelTime's Vice President said, "This is another side of ReelTime.com's episodic television programming that adds another dimension to our library of films and shows." She added that, "'Eye for an Eye' serves an important portion of our subscriber base, and we will strive to get more titles in this genre."

ReelTime.com Installs New Suite for Transcoding and Uploading New Content
SEATTLE, WA, Mar 28, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- ReelTime.com (PINKSHEETS: RLTR), the broadband network offering "point, click and watch" video-on-demand, announced today that they have transformed part of their offices into a state-of-the-art suite for transcoding and uploading new content which, now added to their previously announced Digibeta editing studio will enable ReelTime to scale up the rate at which new content can be made ready for viewing. Now standing at 25 per day, the new facility, when fully staffed, could enable the conversion of up to 80 titles per day.
Jessica Baxter, ReelTime's content manager, said, "Finally I can start to get out from under the backload of video that has been accumulating. Now my staff and I can start to put titles up almost as fast as Beverly (Business Development and Acquisitions V.P. Beverly Zaslow) has been acquiring them."
Beverly Zaslow, ReelTime V.P., said, "We now can get titles up so much faster, which will make the content providers happier, and therefore my department can much more aggressively pursue acquisitions without concern about a lag in time before titles are up on our website and available to subscribers," said Zaslow.
ReelTime activated about one hundred titles yesterday, many of them from (previously announced) Vanguard Films, and the current system is scalable to even greater capacity, as needed. The company now intends to put up one hundred titles per week.
